JOIN THE FIGHT!

Last night I was mindlessly scrolling through Facebook when I saw a post from a friend of mine. She had shared a YouTube link to a video interview with Tim Ballard, who, at the time, I didn't realize was head of Operation Underground Railroad. I had seen his face a few times this past week as I scrolled past other posts friends had shared, but I didn't take the time to read them. I figured I had a pretty good idea of what sex trafficking was all about. Plus, my kids don't have any need for social media internet safety yet since they don't and won't have a Facebook or Instagram accounts for many more years. 

I started watching this interview on YouTube (linked here and at bottom of this page) of Tim Ballard from The Candace Owens Show and I was in tears! Wow was I wrong and so uneducated on the issue of sex trafficking! I had no idea what I was in for to begin with, but I was absolutely floored by what I learned. I finished the 38 minute video clip and I was ready to find EVERY "bad guy" exploiting these children! I was ready to go undercover with Tim Ballard and literally save these kids. I was ready to adopt any and all of these children who have been rescued and need a safe home.

When I woke up this morning I shared all the stories and things I'd learned to my husband. I told him he MUST watch the interview that fueled my fire. I shared with him my passion to end child sex trafficking. I explained to him my concerns about protecting my own children. And how I was ready to go conquer the world! Then it hit me... how?

So this afternoon I have been doing more research and discovered just how I can help - yes, little ol' me can help make a difference! AND I have decided that we (BohoDrift) are also joining the fight!

July 30, 2020 is WORLD DAY AGAINST TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS! We (BohoDrift) have decided to DONATE 30% of all our revenue from that day to O.U.R.! You can also donate directly to the cause on their website too! This one is my fight, and I hope you'll take it on as your fight too! This is real, this is evil and these are children who desperately need our help!
